Lucknow: Ahilan Biswas, a talented Class IX student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, has brought pride to the city of Lucknow on international front by securing the first rank gloabally at the International Astronomy Olympiad-2024.
This Olympiad was organized under the aegis of an educational institution Labrynthe Private Limited. This information was given by Rishi Khanna, Head, Communication Department of CMS. Khanna informed that students from various countries participated in this prestigious Olympiad.
Despite intense competition, this talented young scientist of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I secured the top rank globally, showcasing his outstanding knowledge and expertise in the fields of Astronomy and Space Science. The organizers of the Olympiad while praising the multifaceted talent of the CMS student, rewarded him with a trophy, medal, certificate, and a telescope.
CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, expressed her happiness over Ahilan’s achievement, wishing him a bright future. She also extended her gratitude to the school principal and teachers.
Khanna further mentioned that recognizing the importance of the scientific era, CMS is making rigorous efforts to broaden the scientific and global outlook of its students. CMS organizes international competitions throughout the year in various subjects, providing students with a global platform to showcase their talents.
